Nick Cave "Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave Alone At Alexandra Palace"

Unusual times call for unusual measures, and so in the summer of 2020 Nick Cave gave a solo concert in the impressive West Hall of London’s Alexandra Palace completely without an audience and without a band.
Less than a month later, the concert was available to stream, but only at a specific time, just like a real concert. Cave’s solo performance was primarily meant to be a reaction to isolation and restrictions.
After the overwhelming response to the streaming event, the complete recording is available as a concert album “Idiot Prayer: Nick Cave Alone At Alexandra Palace”.
The album showcases the essence of Nick Cave on his own here: he presents his 22 tracks in a minimalist way like rarely before, alone at the piano, with the Australian’s set including everything from early Bad Seeds and Grinderman compositions to the current Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album ‘Ghosteen’.
